What is MARKETPLACE?

A platform for finding freelancers and ordering services in Azerbaijan — design, development, writing, video, marketing, and more. Payments are protected by an escrow mechanism, and freelancers are paid out in manats (AZN).

Do I need to verify my email?

Yes, after registration you'll receive an email with a confirmation link. Until confirmed, some platform features are limited — a reminder banner with a resend button is shown in your dashboard.

Can I be both a client and a freelancer?

Yes, a single account can act in both roles — the mode switch is in the site header.

How does escrow payment work?

When you place an order, the amount is deducted from your balance and held on the platform's escrow account. The freelancer only receives payment once you confirm the work is done. If something goes wrong, you can open a dispute before confirming.

How do I top up my balance?

In the "Wallet" section of your dashboard — you can top up your balance there to pay for orders.

What if the freelancer misses the deadline or delivers something different from what I ordered?

Reach out to the freelancer through the order chat. If you can't reach an agreement, open a dispute right on the order page — our admins will review materials from both sides and make a decision.

Can I post a project and get proposals from freelancers?

Yes, the "Projects" section — post a task with a description, freelancers will respond with proposals, and you choose who to work with.

What's the platform fee?

The fee depends on your level: new freelancers pay the standard rate, top freelancers get a reduced rate. Current rates are shown on the homepage in the platform stats section.

How do I become a "Verified" freelancer?

Submit a verification request from your dashboard with supporting materials about your qualifications. Once approved by an admin, your profile status is upgraded to "Verified".

How do I withdraw my earnings?

In the "Wallet" section, submit a withdrawal request — available once you reach the minimum payout amount. Payouts are made in manats to the details you provide.

When do I get paid for an order?

As soon as the client confirms the work is done — the funds (minus the platform fee) are credited to your balance.

Is it safe to pay through the platform?

Yes — until the order is confirmed as complete, funds are held in the platform's escrow account rather than transferred to the freelancer directly. That's the core protection for both sides of the deal.

How does a dispute get opened, and who resolves it?

Either party to an order can open a dispute as long as the order isn't completed yet. Platform admins review materials from both sides and decide whether to refund the client or pay the freelancer. Details are on the "Dispute Resolution" page.

Can we agree to pay directly, outside the platform?

No — that violates the Terms of Service and strips both sides of escrow protection. We recommend keeping all payments on the platform.
